🐾 Frequently Asked Questions
How do I order a custom pet portrait?
Ordering a portrait is easy! Just visit my Commissions page or send me a message through my Contact form. I’ll walk you through the whole process — from sending your favorite photos to choosing the size, background, and painting style you’d like.
What kind of photos should I send?
Clear, well-lit photos are best! Try to capture your pet’s face and eyes — they’re the most expressive parts and help me bring out their personality. The more detail, the better!
How long does a painting take?
Every painting is created with love and care, so timing can vary depending on size and my current schedule. Most portraits are finished within 2–4 weeks, and I’ll always let you know an estimated timeframe before starting.
What sizes do you offer?
I offer a range of canvas sizes to suit your space and budget — from small keepsakes to large statement pieces. You can check out the Commissions page for details, or contact me if you’d like something.
Can you paint more than one pet in a single portrait?
Absolutely! I can include multiple pets in one painting. Just let me know how many you’d like featured, and we’ll chat about the best composition and layout.
Do you ship paintings?
Yes, I do! Each piece is carefully packaged and shipped with lots of padding to make sure it arrives safely. I currently ship across the UK.
What materials do you use?
I work mainly with oil and acrylic paints on high-quality stretched canvas. Every painting is sealed and protected so it can be enjoyed for years to come.
Do you offer prints or digital copies?
Yes! Prints or digital versions are available for certain pieces. Just send me a message if you’re interested, and I’ll let you know what’s possible.
Can I see updates while you’re painting?
Of course! I’m happy to share progress photos so you can see your artwork come to life and make sure you’re happy with how it’s going.
Do you accept returns or refunds?
Because each piece is made to order, I can’t offer refunds once painting has begun. But don’t worry — I’ll stay in touch throughout the process to make sure your portrait turns out exactly how you imagined.
